Times are really hard right now. Never in a million years did any of us expect 2020 to end up being what it is now. So many people are battling for their lives from the outbreak of the Coronavirus, and we haven't even reached the peak of it all yet.
As I was sitting at my desk a week ago, I thought to myself, what can I do to make a difference? I feel helpless just sitting here at home. But that is how we will win the fight, by listening to the authorities and being mindful of those who can become severely ill.
But what else can I do to contribute?
I can do what I love most - create art.
Do you want a selfie of yourself transformed into an illustration? Well I can do that! See above for examples of what the final deliverables will look like!
What is the value/point of this?
I will be donating 50% of the proceeds towards your transformation to World Medical Relief.
World Medical Relief will create medical supply packages for those in need, and this is crucial during this rough patch in the world. For more information on what they do and their mission, visit www.worldmedicalrelief.com.
"Without volunteers, World Medical Relief really slowed down its international operations and we are focused on keeping our local programs going. Locally, the agency provides affordable prescriptions, durable medical equipment, medical supplies, liquid nutrition, adult briefs, diapers, bed pads as well as ostomy supplies to low-income people. Especially now, with the rapidly increasing unemployment, it is crucial that we continue to be there for people. Here is the link to the local programs
Requirements for digital illustration transformation:
High-quality to decent-quality selfie or photo of you that is as
symmetrical as possible
These illustrations usually take me two hours to do, & I understand a lot of people (including myself) do not have much money to spend right now, so the cost of the transformations go to support the time it takes to create these illustrations, and to World Medical Relief. Half of the proceeds will go towards medical supplies for those in need during this crisis.
Thank you for your support, please reach out to me through my contact form or email me directly:. Please attach your photo. Payments will be requested before the transformations are sent.
Once transformations are sent to you via email, we highly recommend you to
